PepsiCo is seeking a Marketing Legal Counsel to advise its Frito-Lay North America marketing and business teams on packaging, advertising, promotions, and product innovation across the U.S. portfolio. This role sits within PepsiCo’s Law and Compliance & Ethics function and reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Law.
You will provide legal guidance on food labeling, product claims, ingredients and formulations, advertising and marketing activations, consumer promotions, sponsorships, and talent agreements. The role supports products from ideation through launch, negotiates agency and media contracts, and delivers training to marketing teams. You will manage a high volume of requests, work closely with brand and PR partners, and support major live events, including off-hours approvals when needed.
Candidates should have a JD, be admitted in Illinois, New York, or Texas, and bring at least 3 years of experience in advertising, trademark, or food labeling law, either in-house or at a law firm. Experience with emerging media and digital marketing is a plus.
This is a hybrid role based in Plano, TX, with three days onsite each week. Compensation ranges from $123,500 to $206,750.
