The Wendy’s Company is hiring a Legal Counsel, Commercial Litigation to support its Director of Commercial Litigation and Claims. This role is based at the Restaurant Support Center in Dublin, Ohio and requires in office presence at least four days per week, with up to 10 percent travel.
You will manage commercial disputes and litigation from inception through resolution, including overseeing outside counsel, managing budgets, implementing legal holds, conducting witness interviews, and coordinating document collection. You will respond to third party subpoenas, advise business units such as Risk, Payroll, and HR on dispute matters, and support senior legal leadership on key litigation initiatives. The role focuses on minimizing legal and financial risk while ensuring consistent internal processes.
Candidates must hold a JD and have 2 to 4 years of law firm or in house experience in commercial litigation. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail oriented, and comfortable working directly with business partners in a fast paced corporate environment.
Salary range: $122,000 to $214,000 annually.
