Wake Forest University School of Law seeks a Law Fellow to oversee the Environmental Law and Policy Clinic’s work on heirs’ property cases. This full-time role focuses on case intake and management, supervising student attorneys, and coordinating with partner organizations across North Carolina to expand access to heirs’ property legal services.
The fellow will design and manage an innovative intake model, train private attorneys through CLE programs, and develop curriculum on heirs’ property law. The role also includes research, writing, and outreach to advance policy attention to heirs’ property issues at the state and national level, including conference participation and collaboration with peer institutions.
Ideal candidates hold a JD, have at least two years of experience with heirs’ property cases, and are members of the North Carolina bar or able to become licensed. This position begins no later than early July and is based in Winston-Salem.
