CAVA seeks a senior legal leader to support food innovation, regulatory compliance, and commercial partnerships across a fast growing national restaurant brand. The role reports to the VP and Senior Associate Chief Legal Officer and works closely with culinary, food safety, sustainability, marketing, supply chain, operations, and CPG teams.
You will advise on food and menu related compliance, review laws and regulations, manage cross functional compliance projects, and propose legal solutions tied to product development and enterprise initiatives. The role includes reviewing and negotiating supplier agreements, evaluating marketing claims and copy, and supporting strategic decision making across departments.
Candidates need a J.D. and active U.S. bar license with at least seven years of law firm or in house experience. Strong contract drafting skills and the ability to analyze regulations and give practical guidance are required. Familiarity with food safety, sustainability, nutrition, marketing, packaging, or supply chain work is preferred, along with experience reviewing marketing materials.
