Nestlé is seeking an Associate Counsel to join its Acquisitions, Business Development and Commercial Transactions legal team, supporting a wide range of commercial and procurement matters across Nestlé’s U.S. and Canadian operations. The role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements such as technology services, licensing, marketing, supply, manufacturing, warehouse, engineering, equipment lease, and development contracts, while advising internal teams on transaction structuring, contract interpretation, regulatory compliance, and corporate policies. The Associate Counsel will also help coordinate legal aspects of complex deals, provide ongoing risk assessment, and work closely with business leaders to support business development initiatives and commercial operations.
Candidates must hold a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to the Virginia or Ohio bar with at least three years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Experience working with large organizations, advising business stakeholders, and handling commercial transactions in the consumer packaged goods industry is preferred. Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and problem solving skills are essential.
