Food & Drug Regulatory Associate Attorney – Washington, DC

A top-tier law firm is seeking a Food & Drug Regulatory Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office. This role focuses on advising clients across the food, medical device, and consumer product industries on FDA compliance, regulatory strategy, and enforcement matters. The position offers strong client exposure and a partner-track path within a nationally recognized regulatory practice.

Responsibilities include providing FDA regulatory counseling on product classification, labeling, and compliance strategy, advising on FTC advertising and marketing compliance, and handling enforcement matters such as inspections, warning letters, recalls, and government investigations. The role also involves reviewing ingredients and formulations, supporting import and export compliance, managing civil investigative demands, and assisting with class action and consumer protection issues.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in food and drug law or regulatory compliance and must be admitted to the DC Bar or eligible for prompt admission. Strong experience with FDA and FTC regulatory frameworks, along with excellent writing, analytical, and client-facing skills, is required. The ideal candidate can manage complex regulatory matters independently and work across multiple projects.
