Ventura Foods is hiring a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support global food regulatory and nutrition labeling strategy across its U.S. and international markets. This is a remote role, with preference for candidates located on the West Coast or within the Pacific time zone.
You will lead regulatory compliance efforts for ingredients and finished products in the U.S. and at least two global regions such as APAC, EMEA, LATAM, or North America. The role includes interpreting and applying FDA, USDA, CFIA, and international food laws; advising R&D, Legal, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Operations; and leading cross functional projects in response to regulatory rulemaking. You will conduct risk assessments related to claims, allergens, labeling, packaging materials, and supply chain disruptions, and help develop protocols, labels, standards, and customer communications to ensure compliance.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in food science, regulatory affairs, nutrition, quality, or a related field, with at least three years of regulatory compliance experience in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA labeling laws, FSMA, FFDCA, Codex, Prop 65, Prop 12, trade agreements, and international regulatory frameworks is required. Experience with regulatory software systems and labeling platforms is preferred.
Salary range: $61,588.50 to $93,898.66.
