The California Farm Bureau is seeking a Legal Advocacy Analyst to support its legal and policy teams through research, regulatory tracking, and preparation of legal memoranda and summaries. The role sits at the intersection of law, policy, and agriculture and supports the organization’s advocacy for practical, science based agricultural policy across California.

Responsibilities include conducting legal and regulatory research, monitoring state and federal laws, tracking litigation and agency actions, and preparing written summaries for attorneys and policy staff. The role also supports drafting legal materials such as comment letters and internal advisories while tracking legislative proposals and regulatory developments affecting agriculture.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in political science, legal studies, environmental science, public administration, business, or a related field. Strong research, writing, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across teams.
