FoodChainID — Regulatory Affairs Expert (Food & Food Ingredients, EU)

FoodChainID is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Expert to support food and food ingredient compliance, with a focus on European Union regulatory frameworks. This role works across internal teams and with clients to ensure regulatory content is accurate, current, and actionable, while serving as a key subject matter expert in food law and compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining and updating regulatory content, identifying gaps in coverage, and supporting product development across platforms. The role involves direct client interaction, answering regulatory questions, managing key accounts, and collaborating with business development to support growth. The position also includes participating in consulting projects, engaging with regulators when needed, and tracking emerging regulatory trends in food labeling, claims, and ingredient compliance.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in food regulatory compliance, including labeling, formulation review, and global regulatory frameworks, with EU expertise required. Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
