Amazon — Corporate Counsel, Worldwide Grocery Stores (Austin, TX; Arlington, VA; or Seattle, WA)

Amazon is seeking an experienced attorney to support its Worldwide Grocery Stores business, providing legal and regulatory guidance for one of the company’s fastest growing consumer sectors. This role works closely with internal business teams to advise on complex legal, regulatory, and compliance issues affecting grocery retail and product offerings across both online and in store operations.

Responsibilities include advising on new product and feature launches, providing guidance on marketing and regulatory compliance issues, and partnering with cross functional teams across Legal, Public Policy, and Public Relations to support innovative grocery initiatives. The attorney will help business teams navigate regulatory frameworks affecting consumer goods and food products while supporting strategic business decisions and risk management.

Candidates must have at least five years of legal experience, a Juris Doctor degree, and membership in at least one U.S. state bar. Experience working in a corporate law firm, in house legal team, or within the food or grocery industry is preferred. Familiarity with regulatory agencies such as the FDA or USDA and experience advising on consumer product regulation is also preferred.

Salary range: $153,900 to $208,200.
