Rate: $60 to $70 per hour depending on experience

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week. Any work beyond 40 hours must be approved in advance.
The Specialty Food Association is seeking a Change Management Consultant to support cross departmental strategic initiatives and business planning efforts. This role helps coordinate and track organization wide projects, improve visibility into initiative progress, and strengthen collaboration across departments including Membership, Trade Shows, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Talent and Culture.
You will build and manage centralized project tracking systems using tools such as Asana, SharePoint, Teams, and Smartsheet. The role includes coordinating project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across departments, maintaining initiative dashboards and status reports for leadership, and supporting meetings and follow up for strategic planning efforts. You will also identify process improvements that strengthen alignment and efficiency across the organization and assist with developing presentations and documentation for staff and board communications.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have 7 to 10 years of project management experience, including 5 to 7 years building project plans in Asana. Experience with business planning, timeline management, and implementing project management systems across teams is required. PMP or Agile certification is preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with an interest in the specialty food industry.
