The George Washington University Law School is hiring a full time Program Associate to support its Animal Law and Education Initiative. This two year, grant funded position is based in Foggy Bottom, Washington, DC and follows a hybrid schedule.
You will support the organization of lectures, conferences, and events; manage the partnership with the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics; oversee marketing, publicity, and social media efforts; advise students on curricular offerings; and assist with JD recruitment efforts. The role also includes research and writing in animal law and international and comparative law, with the opportunity to pursue publication.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree by the start date. Strong administrative, research, writing, and communication skills are preferred. Experience with social media, student engagement, and Microsoft Office and related tools is valued. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Salary range: $51,455.52 to $84,850.51.
