Foodsmart — Director, Compliance Officer

Foodsmart is hiring a Director, Compliance Officer to lead and scale its compliance program as the company expands its telenutrition and foodcare platform serving more than 2 million members across employer health plans, Medicaid managed care organizations, Medicare Advantage plans, and commercial insurers. This role reports to the General Counsel and operates as the organization’s primary compliance and privacy leader.

You will oversee the company’s compliance program with a focus on healthcare and Medicaid related regulatory requirements. The role includes developing and implementing compliance policies, leading responses to client audits, conducting internal investigations and risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to laws governing healthcare operations, privacy, and employment practices. You will serve as the primary compliance and privacy officer, advise internal teams on monitoring and escalation processes, and lead training on topics such as HIPAA, fraud and abuse, and workplace compliance. The role also involves managing regulatory inquiries, overseeing data privacy compliance related to PHI and PII, and reporting program updates and risks to senior leadership and the board.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, law, business, or a related field and have at least seven years of professional experience, including three years in healthcare compliance or regulatory affairs. Strong knowledge of HIPAA, fraud and abuse laws, and experience building compliance programs, conducting audits, and managing cross functional initiatives is required.

Salary range: $180,000 to $210,000
